In 2010 Tiffany was also probably the first chair to be produced using post production recycled material. The Recycled version, molded in polyamide derived from the closed loop recycling of selected and reground internal production waste, offered in a single dark gray color, was also proposed at a lower price than the virgin material model, as should coherently be the case for materials of this type. Designed in 2004, it was the first chair in the world made of transparent polycarbonate using gas assisted molding technology, a solution that made it possible to achieve extremely pure surfaces, free from visible structural ribs.
