VOLÉE stems from a refined reinterpretation of the iconic high back multi position chairs popular between the 1970s and 1980s. The project revisits an archetype of outdoor living and translates it into an armchair designed to accompany moments of conviviality and relaxation.
The collection includes a reclining armchair and a fixed armchair (both stackable), as well as a transformable coffee table, stool or footrest.
The armchair is unique in its kind: stackable and equipped with a reclining backrest operated through the armrests, allowing a transition from an upright position to a semi reclined one and finally to a fully relaxed configuration that becomes a true chaise longue when paired with the stool footrest. This accessory can also be transformed into a tea table thanks to a removable metal tray, making it extremely functional and versatile.
The seat is crafted with Olyna bands woven in a herringbone pattern, an unprecedented use of weaving on which we carried out particularly in depth research to achieve a perfect balance between comfort and expressive language.
The family is completed by a fixed small armchair, with or without armrests.
