Audrey cutlery Set

Audrey was my first experience in the field of cutlery. A complete collection for which the work focused from the outset on the search for a formal language capable of conveying elegance and refinement. These qualities are expressed in the fluid, soft and elongated lines, which find in the side section a note of originality thanks to the variation in thickness clearly perceived near the neck, an element of particular richness.

Audrey was born in 2019 from an unexpected intuition: the geometry of a leg of one of our chairs, observed horizontally, suggested the shape of a knife. From there a cutlery collection takes shape, developed by addressing a complex challenge involving proportions, weight, ergonomics and the search for harmony between different elements.
Cutlery engages almost all the senses: sight, touch, taste and even hearing. With Audrey the aim was to respond to every requirement, elegance, ergonomics and functionality, without compromise.
We refined every detail: the fork is easy for eating spaghetti and gentle in the mouth, the knife cuts naturally and without effort, the spoon allows you to sip broth without spills. A collection that appears precious, yet also conveys confidence and natural ease in use.
For Audrey we also designed a steak knife, a refined tool that interprets the language of the collection with its own distinct personality. The handle, flat and rounded at the end, ensures an effective, secure and comfortable grip.
For these steak knives we designed a wooden accessory, also suitable for other collections such as Kobe, highly functional, perfect for keeping them organized in a drawer but also for having them readily available when hung on a bar or placed directly on the work surface. It can also be used to bring them directly to the table.
