In Twirl, designed for a company whose identity is rooted in the beauty of wood, I sought to sublimate the qualities and character of this wonderful material through a formal interplay that would emphasize its flexibility and versatility. The inverted V shaped legs appear to be generated from a single element that is vertically split and then opened like a compass. An illusion that enhances the beauty of the ash grain and the richness of the chamfer detail running along the profile of the two uprights
